There are two types of people in this world.
There are those who are comfortable to relax and observe things from a safe distance, and there are those who aren’t afraid to get amongst it – throwing themselves into the fray and sucking the marrow clean out of life.
Life’s all too short; we really should make it as sweet as it can be.
The most delicious of moments often happen on holiday and they should never pass by half-savoured. When booking a travel package or tour, it always pays to “do” and never to simply just “see”.
After all, after you’ve returned home and the years have passed, what memories will you recall as the most vivid, grand and exhilarating?
Will it be those elicited from behind a bus window (accompanied by a dry lecture from a crusty tour guide on a classic sightseeing expedition)? Or, rather, will it be those memories entrenched into your psyche by a sublime cocktail of friends, frivolity and simple old-fashioned fun? Like the kind you will make on a party tour.
A plain old sightseeing tour can never develop the senses fully.
For, what is a journey through Spain without the taste of Sangria shared with old buddies or newly acquired friends? What would Rio Carnival be if merely watched from the sidelines?
Sure, the cultural and historical knowledge gained from travel is a worthy goal. But, I’d argue that the best of lessons are gained from living.
If you’re happy to just sightsee, well… there’s nothing really wrong with that. But, there certainly isn’t anything truly magical. You might as well watch Getaway or do an extensive Google search if all you really want to do experience is a synopsis of the standard characteristics of a destination.
Shared experiences and good times should never be underestimated. What better way to get to know someone than by partying with him or her?
Friends, laughs and frivolities come easily on a party tour. Sometimes parties are responsible for too much bonding – a situation that is later regrettable.
But then, that’s the beauty of it, you get to leave it all behind at the airport terminal. If what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas then surely what happened on party tour stays on party tour?
Keep in mind, however, that I’m by no means advocating a classic Keith Richards style obliteration.
Party tours are controlled environments. When done correctly they allow you to have a (ostensibly) wild time while always remaining safe and secure. You’ll never have to worry about winding up passed out in a grotto or awaking midday burnt to a crisp on some Ibiza beach.
Thirsty Swagman is all about the responsible party tour. After all, no one wants to babysit a bunch of drunkards across a continent. Just read Thirsty Swagman’s code of conduct.
Never fear, the rules only serve to enhance everyone’s continued and respected freedom to have a damn brilliant, bloody awesome, epic, stuff-of-dreams party tour experience to rival all others.
A Thirsty Swagman party tour will provide access to the “must-do” elements of your destinations – the pubs/clubs/restaurants, festivals and attractions.
It will be authentic.
It will provide unfiltered uniqueness and unfettered action. It will immerse you into the particular flavour of the given moment. You will find the excitement of a foreign land and the minutiae of cultural experience served up to you on a platter.
It doesn’t matter what type of person you are or which destination you prefer, there is sure to be a party tour to suit you: http://www.thirstyswagman.com/tours.asp
So, don’t simply see the sights – live them. You could be clinking champagne flutes in Paris or enjoying a Hawaiian Luau before you even know it.
Remember… there ain’t no party like a Swag Club party. (Go on, sing it, you know you want to!!!)
