Victory!

23rd November 2011: Facebook reinstated our Page today!

To all our thirsty mates who spread the word: THANK YOU!  To M.G. at Facebook: You are a legend.  To all those who told us to give up, understand this:

These colours don't run. Never have, never will.

---

We need your help!

In mid-October, a Facebook Page we created for Oktoberfest in Munich was hacked and our Admin access removed. (full story below)

We've tried, unsuccessfully, for over 5 weeks now to get Facebook to restore our Admin rights to this page. So far, this has not been done. This is hurting our business, and damaging our reputation online.

We're asking you, our thirsty mates, to help us get their attention.

What can you do?

We simply want Facebook to restore Admin access to our page. You can help us, by simply:

- Posting this link to your Facebook or Twitter:
   http://www.thirstyswagman.com/N121-facebook-page-hacked.html

- or posting a link to the official Press Release on PRWeb.com

- or emailing one of the links above to press@fb.com

We've tried everything else, yet after 5 weeks there is still no response from Facebook. So we're going public to let others know that this can happen to them.

Why won't they listen?

Facebook officially claims that "...it is not technically possible to hack a Facebook Page".

This is incorrect, since the Fan Page of its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, was hacked in January 2011.

There are countless reports of similar incidents, incl. from other business. Just google "facebook page hacked".
