Travel Light. Before you head off on your trip, lay out all your clothes and all your cash, then take half the amount of clothes and double the cash – because you'll definitely need twice the drinking money.
Dress to un-impress. When leaving your hotel, just carry enough cash for the night and leave those credit cards in the room. Fancy dressed travellers with bling are asking for trouble.
