The Beginning of the Rock City Saga
In October 2005, 8 musicians from Sweden landed at Phuket International Airport. They were anxious to commence rehearsals for the gig of a lifetime.
Only a few weeks later Rock City would open its doors to an eager crowd for the most heavily anticipated music experience to ever hit the island.
The excitement was warranted - tourists and locals packed the Patong Beach Rd venue to witness the Phuket debut of Europe's finest ACDC tribute band "Hazy Dizzy" and the first performance of the newly formed "Nostalgica".
November 5, 2005, the ultimate rock palace is born!
With state of the art sound and light Rock city continues to deliver all your favourite rock'n'oll classics, heavy metal tunes, party anthems and current top 40 hits from around the globe.
Rock City is open every night from 8:00pm until very late. You'll find this house of rock'n'roll at the end of Bangla Road, Patong Beach, Phuket. You'll hear it from miles away
Rock City has been voted the "hardest rock club in Asia in 2008.
