Oktoberfest 2012 Packages and Tours released by Thirsty Swagman now offer travellers a range of options for the festival.
Munich, Germany – June 23, 2011 – It may be well over a year to go, but Oktoberfest 2012 tours and packages are already in demand even before this year's festival kicks off in Munich.
With over 6 million visitors expected to attend Oktoberfest this year, most tour operators and hotels are already fully booked, leaving visitors with few options other than arranging accommodation far away from the festival grounds, or paying a steep premium for packages and last-minute deals offered by various tour operators.
"It's incredible that already we're seeing demand for Oktoberfest 2012 packages" said Tash Marti, Events and Party Manager at Thirsty Swagman. "In previous years, travellers would enquire about accommodation and beer tent tickets right up to a few days before the festival. Now they're already making plans for 2012 over a year in advance."
With a number of new Oktoberfest tours in 2012, Thirsty Swagman hopes to offer travellers a range of options from short 3-day packages to Munich only, to 5-day packages that include a few nights in Austria, and its premium 12-night Euro Hard'n'Fast tour that takes in Oktoberfest and 4 other destinations.
"Our Oktoberfest packages this year are just epic, and next year we're hoping to take over a hundred thirsty people to the beer tents each day" said Carl Prebensen, Tour Manager at Thirsty Swagman. "We'll hit the beer tents and celebrate Bavaria-style, singing Ein Prosit with Stein glass in hand."
Oktoberfest 2012 will start on 22nd September and end on 7th October 2012. Packages offered by Thirsty Swagman start from €795 twin-share hotel accommodation, are fully guided and include beer tent reservations.
