Touring Company Thirsty Swagman has added extra packages and tour options for Oktoberfest 2011.
With demand for its twelve-night Euro Hard’n’Fast tour, which begins at Munich’s Oktoberfest and takes travellers to four additional destinations in Europe, has seen the company add two more tour options for the festival.
A three-day Oktoberfest package, which includes beer tent reservations and hotel accommodation, and a new five-day tour have been added to the company’s festival itineraries. The five-day tour includes several nights in Austria after Oktoberfest. All package options are fully guided.
“We’ve had huge demand this year for shorter tour options that offer visitors a true Thirsty Swagman style Oktoberfest experience, where they get to party in the beer tents with our travellers that booked the full Euro Hard’n’Fast tour” said Tash Marti, Events and Festival Manager at Thirsty Swagman. “Already we’re seeing people enquire about next year even, so we’ll be offering even more tour options then.”
Thirsty Swagman has been offering Oktoberfest tours since 2007, but has only this year added shorter packages to its itineraries.
“Already over sixty people are booked on our Oktoberfest tours over two days, and we’ll be showing them how to party like the Bavarians with beer in hand” said Carl Prebensen, Tour Manager at Thirsty Swagman.
Oktoberfest 2011 begins on 17th September with the traditional opening at the Schottenhamel tent and end on 3rd October 20011. Tours and packages available from Thirsty Swagman start from €795 and include beer tent reservations, hotel accommodation and are fully guided.
