Smith’s Arms, a thatched 15th-century structure, was a blacksmith’s until King Charles II chanced by one day and desiring a drink, issued and granted a license on the spot.
It’s officially the smallest pub in England, with seating for 4 people and their beer glass. The garden takes the overflow, and is the perfect place to down some Lagers on a balmy summer’s afternoon.
You’ll find it in Dorset, England.
What to drink: Sadly, this establishment is no longer open to the public.
