Nuremberg is located in the northern half of Bavaria, about 170km/105 miles north of Munich and about 112km/70 miles northwest of Regensburg. It’s easily accessible by both train and car.

Nuremberg is a top stop for those interested in its World War II history. From massive propaganda rallies to the famous postwar trials, there’s lots of great historical sites to visit here.
