You’ll start off your adventure in Reykjavik, the nightlife capital of the north, with the finest watering holes in Iceland. This includes the brilliant Dillon Whiskey Bar, a must-visit bar for any thirsty traveller.

Then it’s off to Copenhagen, where you’ll visit the local pub scene which is famous for its huge variety of different establishments. From small beer-barns to water-front Danish delights, it features something for everyone.

Final stop is Hamburg, home to the Reeperbahn – a party mile of epic proportions. The beach-themed StrandPauli bar a highlight.

Reykjavik, Icealand (Day 1, 2 & 3)

Reykjavik nightlife is unlike any other. With over 50 bars lining the main street (Laugavegur), it is the nightlife capital of the north and you will be spoilt for choice. On weekends, this town comes alive with its famous Reykjavik Rúntur (round tour); when normally early-to-bed Icelanders seem to pack a week’s worth of partying into 48 hours, moving from bar to bar well into the early hours of the next morning.

Copenhagen, Denmark (Day 4, 5 & 6)

A party city almost around the clock, Copenhagen offers anything from cosy pubs, through glamorous nightclubs and underground bars. And the best part; most places stay open until the sun comes up. The city has one of the highest number of restaurants and bars per capita in the world, and the variety of micro-brewed beers is a minor marvel.

A recent trend is Cocktail and Wine bars, which have become very popular here. The Danes like everything from disco to techno so you won’t have trouble finding a venue that caters to your taste.

Hamburg, Germany (Day 7, 8 & 9)

One word: Epic. Hamburg is considered by some to have the best nightlife in Germany. The Reeperbahn, its legendary party mile in the St Pauli district, boasts an incredibly wide variety of pubs, bars and nightclubs. The Beatles got their start here, and John Lennon is famously quoted: “I might have been born in Liverpool – but I grew up in Hamburg”

A highlight is the water-front StrandPauli bar, featuring an island & beach-themed setting in the middle of the city.
